In this section, we are going to cover yet another story of a passionate home chef Jaycee.
How her journey started
“My mom is a brilliant chef who started her own food stall in 1997. She has been growing and managing her stall ever since she started cooking. She recently came up to me in pandemic and said that she wanted to retire. I absolutely respected her decision to retire from work but I felt a strange feeling when it shut down.
So I started off with my cooking journey as soon as my mum retired. To continue her legacy I decided to start cooking like my mum. I learned a lot of recipes from her and excelled at cooking them. I soon left my job and became a full-time chef. I enjoy cooking and it feels like I am pursuing my dreams and passion.”
Her Speciality and favourites
Our speciality is that our Lor Mee is cooked from handmade ingredients which are different from other Lor mee. Our most popular choice of Lor Mee is Yang Yang Fish Lor Mee and Lor Mee Specialty.
