In this section, we are going to cover yet another story of a passionate home chef, Fairuza Hamid.
How her journey started
A mom, a wife, an employee & a cook – this is Fairuza Hamid, our Chef from lactate teks. Our chef is hardworking, diligent & persistent in her journey with cooking.
She was an air stewardess living in Dubai, who came back to get married to her childhood crush. After getting married she then went back to being a barista.
She was watching her favourite cooking channel by Nadiya Hussein and something struck her, “why dont I do something that I like to eat, easier to make and hard to get out there in the market? And I decided on scones!”
She says. “I hate crumbly messy scones. Thus, I baked them myself and did some testing with the flavours! Honestly, I am in love with these scones I bake!
By baking, I get to earn some kachings and yet spend some time with my little buns (kids).
Her specialities and Favourite dishes
One the most famous and best selling scones are: Lemon Lavender which is zesty yet calming. It has a calming taste and perfect amount of zest for freshness.
